The Equus restaurant was excellent for dinner. Breakfast however had extremely slow service.

Inviting deluxe king room in a Victorian style master bedroom. Excellent service, with parking on-site. Nice pool area. Marvelous location in the restaurant overlooking the valley. Close to attractions, the castle, and many sights in the area.

Loved this small hotel: appetising food and really kind and nice staff. Our location was marvellous and gorgeous on howupscale everything else was. And we were right by the restaurant which looked lovely, downtown, and still close enough to travel to attractions...

The staff was very rude.

The staff here are really friendly and attentive, the room is big and bright, and they even provide robes and slippers - overall, the service is excellent.

Air conditioner or compressor or something outside our room made noise.

The room was spacious and airy, designed in a charming Victorian style. It had central heating, a private safe, and a pay television. The hotel's location was fantastic, very close to attractions, with a restaurant that offered scenic views of the valley and was just a short trip away from NYC.

1) Although the room was cleen, it was I think dusty and allergenic. My wife woke up at 2 am and could not breathe well. I gave her inhaler steroid. 2) There was so much loudness of the air conditioner coming from the garden. It was really awful. 3) The worker on the door was not polite. 4) It was not easy to adjust the bath tap and I was nearly burn out with the hot water (although I adjusted the tap to warm). 5) The toilet's water pump was out of order. It leaked water.

The breakfasts were complimentary with fresh ingredients and made-to-order omelettes, which was a nice touch. Our room was spacious, complete with complimentary wine and a beautiful stone fireplace that added to our enjoyable stay. The location was stunning and convenient, right next to the castle with a river view, and the restaurant offered fantastic views of the valley and New York.

Its a castle. I liked everything.
